Loleta Elementary School

Hello Students, Parents and Staff,

What an exciting year we have ahead as the Loleta
staff continues to refine some of the changes from
last school year.  Students in the 6th through 8th
grades will continue to experience a junior high
rotation with two teachers, PE, and electives.
We hope this reorganization will better prepare
students for high school.  With this change come
higher expectations for behavior and academics.

The junior high will also have better access to the
computer lab and the remodeled "Makers Space".

This is the second year of the new Special Day Class with behavioral supports.  Ms. Lindsay Crawford continues to teach this class along with Sandy Radic-Oshiro, (School Psychologist from the Humboldt County Office of Education).   Many of you know Sandy from our IEP meetings.

Mrs. Roseberry will be taking the second/third grade again this year.

Ms. Monica Smith will continue as Loleta School's Resource Teacher in room two.
If you have questions, please call the school and I will be pleased to do my best to answer your questions or concerns.
